What is Emergency License Check?

An emergency license check (अत्यावश्यक लाइसेन्स जाँच) is a verification process to confirm whether a DOTM-issued fast-track driving license smart card has been printed. Emergency licenses are granted for applicants who need their driving license urgently — such as professional drivers, delivery workers, and transport operators.

Unlike standard licenses that take 2–8 weeks to print, emergency licenses are processed within 1–2 weeks through a separate DOTM fast-track queue. The emergency license status check is maintained in a separate database from regular print records.

Note: When checking emergency license status, you MUST enable the "Emergency (अत्यावश्यक) License" checkbox on the license check tool. Without it, the system searches the standard database and may not find your record.
